REG Bolsters Victorian Presence with $45m Acquisition of 230-Bed Facilities
Regis Healthcare Limited (REG) announced on 23 October 2025 the acquisition of two residential aged care homes in Victoria: Ocean Mist Aged Care in Torquay (120 beds) and Drysdale Grove Aged Care in Drysdale (110 beds), for a net consideration of approximately $45 million. The transaction includes assuming around $36 million in refundable accommodation deposit (RAD) liabilities and is expected to deliver pro-forma annual EBITDA of about $6 million, equating to a transaction multiple of 7.5x EBITDA. Completion is anticipated on 1 December 2025, with funding from REG's existing net cash position of $99 million as at 30 September 2025. The homes are modern facilities with 100% single ensuite rooms, extending REG's footprint west of Melbourne in high-demand regional areas. This follows REG's recent acquisition activity, adding 13 homes and over 1,700 beds in the past two years. For details, see the ASX announcement.
